There are allegations of steroid use about one of baseball's power hitters who many consider to be the top player
in the game. Sports Illustrated is reporting Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, known as A-Rod, tested positive for
steroid using 2003. Magazine says it confirmed the result with four sources, and says when it approached Rodriguez,
he declined the answer, referring qustions to player's union instead.

The magazine says Rodriguez was tested in 2003 when he was with the Texas Rangers, a year before he was traded
to the yankees. The results were to have been kept anonymous. When A-Rod was tested, there was no penalty for a
positive test. The Results came to light after federal agents raided steroid lab in California. The report about
Rodriguez comes against the backdrop of the upcoming trial of Barry Bonds, accused of lying about steroid use.

This all comes as the Yankees are getting ready to start a brand new season in a brand new stadium. Rodriguez
has been making news for the last year off the field, first with his divorce, then his dalliances with Madonna.
Recently he has been called A-Fraud by his teammates, a revelation made in a new book by his former manager, Joe
Torre. And now, steroid allegaions.

Ted Shaffrey, The Associated Press, reported from Yankees Stadium in New York

In his first prime time news conference, President Barack Obama pressured lawmakers to approve a massive economic recovery bill. The President defended his emergency plan and said that if Congress fails to act quickly it could turn this crisis into a catastrophe.

An out-of-work turck driver smile as he pleaded guilty to killing two people and wounding six others at a Tennessee
church last summer. Jim Adkisson  says he went on the shooting rampage because he consider the liberal church "a den of un-American vipers."

New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez has admitted to using a banned substance serveral years ago while he was with the Texas Rangers. In an interview with ESPN, Rodriguez says he was naive and apologize repeatedly.

And the public will soon be able to get a close up look at presidential history. The small, red bible used to swear
in
Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama will go on rare public display to mark the 200th anniversary of the
16th President birth.

It is the nation's first deadly crash of a commercial plane in more than 2 years. Continental connection flight 3407
dropping out of the sky near Buffalo, New York on a flight from Newark, New Jersy, killing 49 on board and 1 on the
ground. The twin-engine turboprop was operated by Virginia-based Colgan Air for Continental Airlines.

The plane Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400, like this one is made in Canada. According to the manufacturer, it can carry
between 68 and 78 pasengers, 2 pilot, and either 2 or 3 flight attendants. (피나클 항공사 대표자) "The aircraft is a
new airplane. It's what we call a next-generation turboprop, very very modern. It's an aicraft that has had flawless
service. So no, no indications any problems with the aircraft."

It is too early to pinpoint a cause but some pilots in the area reported picking up ice on their wings, which can
interfer with a plane's performance. Another turboprop made by another company crashed in Indiana in 1994, killing 68.
Investigators said ice on the wings caused the American Eagle plane to suddenly roll. Bombardier says the Q-400 has
the most advanced turboprop engine in production making the plane competitive with so-called regional jets that most
airlines use for shorter flights.

Michael Phelps has found himself in hot water after a photo surfaced in a British newspaper showing him
inhailing from a water pipe commonly used to smoke Marijuana. The British tabloid, News of the World, reports
the photo was taken at a home party at the University of South Carolina last November, while phelps was on
a break from training.

The photo has forced the Olympic champion to apologize for behavior that he says was "regrettable and
demonstrated bad judgement". He adds that he has acted in a "youthful and inappropriate way" and promises
it won't happen again. It's not the first time Phelps has been forced to issue a post-Olympic apology. After
the 2004 games, Phelps was arrested for druken driving.

The U.S. Olympic committee says Phelps failed to live up to his reponsibilities as a role model after winning
a record 8 gold medals in last year's Beijing Games. Phelps had planned to attend Sunday's Suprer Bowl in
Tampa, Florida, but left the city before the game after the making promotional appearances on behalf of a sponsor.
Phleps hopes to earn 100 million dollars in endorsements.
